FORT MYERS TEAM

Mr. Jon (Jon Leehr), Fort Myers Teaching Director
Mr. Jon has spent his career working with kids and young people through teaching, coaching, outdoor programs, and youth development. He holds a master's degree in Educational Leadership and loves bringing people together, supporting teachers, and helping programs grow while keeping kids at the center of it all. After a summer with our Tampa team, he fell in love with STEAM and is moving to Fort Myers to join us. Be sure to say hello at pickup!

Miss Delanie (Delanie Kirwan), Fort Myers Lead Teacher & Off-Site Programs
Miss Delanie (or Miss Dee!) was born in Las Vegas and has a background in biology. She once had to retake her first college chemistry class, and now chemistry is one of her favorite subjects to teach. She loves turning big, intimidating topics into exciting ideas kids can grab onto. Outside of STEAM she's rock climbing, kayaking, gardening, or hanging out with her dog, Dixie.

Mrs. Danielle (Danielle Cute), Fort Myers Art Teacher
Mrs. Danielle is a Fort Myers local who has spent her career working with kids through nonprofit and after-school programs. She loves helping kids explore their creativity through hands-on projects and getting to know each of them along the way. Outside of STEAM you'll find her shelling, camping, birding, or at a concert. She has two cats and a dog, and if she won the lottery, she'd open a bookstore and an animal sanctuary.

NAPLES TEAM

Ms. Beth (Beth Estenson), Naples Site Director
Ms. Beth hails from Kentucky and went back to college in her 50s to become a teacher. After raising four children with four very different learning styles, she knew she wanted to be the educator who celebrates how every kid learns. She loves walking the beach, exploring museums, and finding out-of-the-way places with her dog, Tucker. Her motto: how long you live is limited, but how much you learn is not.

Mrs. Amanda (Amanda Summerall), Naples Teacher & Party/Event Coordinator
Mrs. Amanda is a Southwest Florida native who has worked with kids since she was 16 and was an arts major in high school. She finds so much joy in helping kids learn something new, and she's the one planning our parties and community events. She's mom to two kids and two dogs, loves gaming and time outdoors, and would wow you at our talent show with her gloriously terrible karaoke.

Ms. Kaitlyn (Kaitlyn Flores), Naples Art Teacher
Ms. Kaitlyn was born and raised in Florida and is proud of her Mexican heritage. She has a bachelor's degree in elementary education and has taught both middle school English and elementary school. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing that "ah-ha" moment when it all clicks. In her free time she reads, travels solo, and hosts karaoke nights, and she'd wow everyone at our talent show with her singing.

TAMPA TEAM

Ms. Marixsa (Marixsa Watson), Director of Tampa Bay Off-Site Programming
Ms. Marixsa brings science to life everywhere she goes. She's taught environmental science to toddlers, science in the UK, chemistry through her PhD research, and elementary science and Spanish here in Florida. She loves when kids run with an idea and make it their own. She's mom to Spencer, loves road trips and wildlife photography, and calls her superpower "sprinkles of knowledge" for all the random facts she somehow always has ready.

LEADERSHIP

Mrs. Shore (Hilary Shore), Co-Founder & COO
Mrs. Shore grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania and has her Bachelor's degree in Music, Vocal Performance, and Master's Degree in Music Education. She's been a music teacher, child-care director, and STEAM teacher/director/off-site coordinator/marketing director and more. She's mom to Joey and Sammy, and when she's not at STEAM you'll find her at the piano, drawing, running, or on a yoga mat. Her favorite piece of advice: leap and the net will appear.

Mr. Shore (Ryan Shore), Co-Founder & CEO
Mr. Shore has spent 20 years in education across every grade level, subject, and role you can imagine. He once quit his job, welcomed a baby, and started a business all in the span of 30 days, so he knows a thing or two about perseverance. Married to Hilary and dad to Joey and Sammy, Ryan is growing and developing FSA, expanding it's reach every day. Off the clock, he's fishing, diving, or boating, usually with a Celsius in hand.
