Partnership Announcement: Royal Palm Academy & Full STEAM Ahead

Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead is partnering with Royal Palm Academy (RPA), a private Catholic school in Naples, FL, to bolster their STEAM program. Royal Palm already has a sterling reputation in the community, and the addition of a Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead design STEAM Lab only strengthens their programming and commitment to excellence.

Co-Founder Ryan Shore of Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead is spearheading the partnership alongside the Head of Schools for RPA, Michael Bussman. Together, they share a vision of creating a one-of-a-kind learning environment for innovation, creative thinking, problem solving, and fun.

Below is Mr. Bussman's message to the RPA community:

Dear Royal Palm Academy Families,

 

I am excited to share an important update in support of my plan to strengthen STEM education at Royal Palm Academy. Starting next school year, we are expanding our partnership with Full STEAM Ahead, Southwest Florida's premier provider of STEAM education, to bring their expertise to RPA's school day.

 

Some RPA families already know Full STEAM Ahead through their after-school and summer camp programs, where their exceptional instructors and engaging curriculum have consistently delivered a high-quality experience for our students. Building on that successful foundation, all RPA students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade will now enjoy a dedicated weekly STEAM class, taught by Full STEAM Ahead's professional instructors.

 

Key Highlights of this Exciting Expansion:

 

STEM Class for All Students (K-8):

Every student will participate in a weekly STEM class during the school day, led by professional Full STEAM Ahead instructors, enhancing and replacing our current technology class offering.

 

Curriculum Focused on Innovation:

Students will engage in hands-on learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, developing skills in critical thinking, creative problem solving, digital literacy, perseverance, and innovation.

 

Upgraded STEM Learning Space:

In partnership with Full STEAM Ahead, we will upgrade our current Technology Lab with enhanced STEM equipment, creating an even more dynamic and engaging environment for exploration, discovery, and creativity.

 

Potential for After-School STEM Club:

We are also exploring the possibility of launching an additional after-school STEM Club in the fall, depending on instructor availability.

 

This exciting step forward reflects our commitment to providing students with a modern, rigorous, and inspiring education that prepares them for the world ahead - while remaining grounded in the excellence and care that define Royal Palm Academy.
