Full STEAM Ahead to merge summer programs in Naples with Montessori Academy of Naples
For the last few years, Full STEAM Ahead (FSA) and Montessori Academy of Naples (MAN) have enjoyed a productive and symbiotic partnership of like minded educational philosophy. Both programs seek to inspire creativity and discovery in their students, and provide hands-on learning opportunities to build problem solvers and independent thinkers. Although they accomplish these goals differently (MAN with a classical approach, FSA with a modern, technology driven approach), it only makes sense that one day the two would operate together under a single entity. The first iteration of this model has finally arrived in Summer STEAM @ MAN.
To usher in this new era, Full STEAM Ahead teachers will continue to provide training and support to MAN staff on a consultation basis. This program will feel very familiar to current FSA families, as FSA will still be providing the same great lessons, curriculum design, materials, resources, and even the same classroom space.
What will be different?
Summer STEAM @ MAN will have some minor differences from previous STEAM programs.
- All registrations and payments will be made through MAN. Existing registrations will be transferred at no additional cost or with no additional charges being made to any accounts
- FSA classroom logos may disappear and become MAN logos
- All teachers will be MAN employees, except for when FSA teachers are on site to train and provide guidance to MAN staff
- Families may be required to sign an additional wavier under the MAN umbrella
What will be the same?
- FSA will provide the curriculum and lessons you know and love
- FSA will provide the fixtures and technology students are already familiar with
- FSA teachers will be on site at times to guide MAN staff and model lessons
- Camps will take place in the same classroom space students are familiar with
