Full STEAM Ahead Specialty Summer Camps are the perfect way to keep your child growing all summer long. Our STEM Summer Camps and Arts Summer Camps allow children to dig deeper into topics that they love in a way that helps them grow intellectually and socially. Our campers make new friends with common goals. They spend their summer using problem solving skills and creativity. All specialty camps include access to our Maker Traits, STEAM Cents, Challenge Badges, and learning opportunities across the STEAM spectrum.
During our Specialty Camp Game Design – Coding, using the coding language Scratch, students will learn how to program and design their own game, ranging from side-scrollers, to clickers, to even recreating some classic arcade games. Students gain the fundamentals of Scratch, and some more advanced techniques.
