Fort Myers Summer Camp @ Full STEAM Ahead

Our classic “Best Of” camp! While learning about the Camp Theme for the week kids will try a little bit of everything from 3D Printing, Engineering, Building, Robotics, Minecraft and Art. Our campers will work on projects to help make their world a more interesting place. They will expand their intellectual horizons, discover new passions, be immersed in a richly creative environment, as well as, continue to develop critical thinking skills. The goal, as always, is to have a ton of fun learning and make new friends! .

During STEAM Camp – Building and Design, kids will learn about the design and engineering process. They’ll take on physical, digital, and mental building challenges including electronics projects, Lego, and 3D models.

During STEAM Camp YOUTUBE STAR, campers will learn about video design, they will create their own persona and record a “game play” video. This video will be edited by our young YouTube stars and then will be uploaded to the Full S.T.E.A.M Ahead YouTube channel.

During STEAM Camp TO INFINITY AND BEYOND saying, “It’s not rocket science!,” gives rocket science a bad name. It implies that it’s not fun and can’t be done by amateurs. Well, we are here to prove that wrong. In our Infinity and Beyond class, students will be learning about aerodynamics and aerospace engineering principals, as well as the challenges that engineers face in designing rockets. Exploring Kerbal Space Program your camper will learn about the physics of space flight. Aspiring Astronauts and Pilots to apply within!! Students will be building and launching their own rockets out of various materials, both physically and virtually, in addition to engineering the perfect paper airplane that can fly 30 feet and 3D modeling the solar system and building the International Space Station in Minecraft. It’s all about engaging in the scientific method and engineering design process,.

This is where idea generation and creativity come to life in the form of vison and function. Makers can work with anything from music and art to robots and inventions. Maybe they’ll even make the future!

Kids will work on projects to help make the world a better place, expand their intellectual horizons, discover new passions, be immersed in a creative and critical thinking rich environment. The goal, as always, is to have a ton of fun learning and make new friends!

During STEAM Camp –Marine Explorers kids won’t just learn facts about our oceans and the environment under the waves, they will live it. They’ll learn to build an aquarium in TinkerCAD, construct a marine laboratory in Minecraft, and maybe even create a powered boat with chemical reactions.
