Naples STEAM Camp

From memes to coffee mugs, cardboard boxes to magazine covers, Graphic Design is all around us. Graphic Designers use a unique combination of art and tech skills to create their masterpieces, and in this camp, students will learn the tricks of the trade. Students will learn about principles of graphic design, discover the world of design all around them, and use Canva and other software to design their own flyers, logos, invitations, advertisements, and more.

And yes, we’ll be making a ton of memes with our newly acquired skills!

Naples STEAM Camp

Use Scratch, a web-based coding platform, to create your own custom video games. Students will learn how to create several styles of games (platformers, racing games, scrollers, and more). Students will learn how to customize levels, characters, and behaviors to make the next smash hit game. Learn real coding basics while having fun and exercising creativity. No coding experience necessary!

Our classic “best of” camp! Try a little bit of everything from 3D Printing, engineering, building, robotics, and Minecraft to music, piano, guitar, and art. Kids will work on projects to help make the world a better place, expand their intellectual horizons, discover new passions, be immersed in a creative and critical thinking rich environment, and have a ton of fun learning and making new friends.

During STEAM Camp – Under the Sea, kids won’t just learn facts about our oceans and the environment under the waves, they will live it. They’ll learn to build a sea shanty, construct a marine laboratory, maybe even create an electric powered boat.

Kids will work on projects to help make the world a better place, expand their intellectual horizons, discover new passions, be immersed in a creative and critical thinking rich environment, and have a ton of fun learning and making new friends.

During STEAM Camp – Science, kids will learn about the scientific method and complete hands on science experiments. They’ll be challenged to pose and answer questions. Additionally they will learn the answers to some of sciences most enduring questions: What happens when you combine sodium bicarbonate and acetic acid.

Kids will work on projects to help make the world a better place, expand their intellectual horizons, discover new passions, be immersed in a creative and critical thinking rich environment, and have a ton of fun learning and making new friends.

During STEAM Camp – Games, kids will learn what it takes to make a game in multiple modalities. They will plan and code an entire video game and compete in the music and robot Olympics.
