Full Day camps run from 9am – 4pm weekdays during summer

Half Day Camps:

AM Session – 9am – 12pm

PM Session – 1pm – 4pm

Students enrolled in both AM and PM sessions are welcome to stay for the lunch break

FREE early dropoff starts for all campers at 8:30am. FREE late pickup ends for all campers at 4:30pm.

Early drop-off for an additional $5 fee is available starting at 8AM

Late pick-up for an additional $5 fee is available until 5PM

Late Fee – Students arriving earlier than 8AM or staying later than 6PM will be charged our late pick-up fee, which is $1 per minute late.

Yes, camp tuition fees can be refunded in most circumstances. To protect ourselves from last minute cancellations, there are a few exceptions.

Cancellations with 14+ days notice prior to camp start date are eligible for a full refund*

Cancellations 7-14 days notice prior to camp start date are eligible for a 50% refund*

We are unable to provide refunds for camps cancelled fewer than 7 days prior to the camp start date*

All refunds carry a $25 cancellation fee. If you choose a transfer or credit towards future classes or camps, this fee $25 is waived.

Students that are staying for Full Day S.T.E.A.M. Camp(s) or 2 Half Day Specialty camps need to be provided with a packed lunch with a cold pack (if needed).

Students staying for Half-Day Specialty camps do not need lunch, but are welcome to pack a snack or a lunch to eat with their friends before or after their camp.

Snacks are available for students to purchase with their STEAM Cents during our morning and afternoon snack break, or parents are welcome to send snacks with their children.

Depending on the location and the camp, yes. Based on available outdoor space, students will spend short amounts of time during the day (weather pending). During the summer, we limit outside time due to the heat and humidity. However, we believe exercise and play are a critical part of a child’s day! If you are at a location with outdoor play space, we recommend sending sunscreen or applying sunscreen before your camp starts just in case!

Summer camp discounts are not automatically generated by our system at registration. If your account shows the full amount after registration, don’t worry! We manually review every account before processing any payments to make sure that you receive the correct discounts. Absolutely! We pride ourselves on consistently creative and unique lesson plans, and we almost never repeat the same exact camp twice. We have almost 700 unique lesson plans to choose from across myriad STEAM topics. Even if we did, our projects are typically so open ended that children could complete the same project 10 times and end up with 10 different results, and would increase in confidence and ability each time. Futher, children tend to love the familiarity of having done a camp or lesson before, knowing that they have some special knowledge about the topic that they may be able to share. Children will always grow and learn as a part of a Full STEAM Ahead camp, even if they’re doing it for the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time.

Full Day "STEAM" Camps

Our Full Day STEAM Camps are commonly referred to as our “best of” camps because they include a little bit of just about everything Full STEAM Ahead has to offer. As a result, each STEAM Camp has a unique theme and unique activities so that nothing is ever repeated (we’ve got over 700 unique STEAM lesson plans!!).

No experience is necessary! Our students come from a broad range of backgrounds, experiences, skill sets, and passions, and we design all of our activities with this in mind. Because of this, our lessons are all highly scalable an appropriate for all ages in attendance. To accomplish this, we plan our lessons with a low entry point for even the youngest and least experienced students. However, each lesson is similarly designed with a very high ceiling (or virtually no ceiling in most cases) so that students will never “max out” their skills or knowledge, as often happens in traditional education settings.

Half Day "Specialty" Camps

Our half day camps specialize in 1 particular topic or skill set and take a deep dive into that topic. These camps are designed for students really looking to work toward expertise or mastery in a specific domain.
