Naples STEAM Summer Camp

Video games often unfairly get a bad rap for being mindless entertainment. However, when you start building and coding your own video games, you discover that creating a great video game requires an incredibly diverse skill set. From creating a storyline for your game to designing the background and characters in a 2D or 3D Modeling environment, to scripting and coding motion and interactivity into your models, building your own video game is no joke! Students will leave with their very first video game in Roblox Studio.

Naples STEAM Summer Camp

Students will learn how to pilot, maintain, and repair their own drones. Throughout the camp, students will learn different practical uses for drones and complete drone challenges related to photography, package delivery, and obstacle courses. All students will get to bring home a new drone at the end of the week!

Naples STEAM Summer Camp

Use Scratch, a web-based coding platform, to create your own custom video games! Students will learn how to create several styles of games (platformers, racing games, scrollers, and more). Students will learn how to customize levels, characters, and behaviors to make the next smash hit game. Learn real coding basics while having fun and exercising creativity. No coding experience necessary!

Architecture and Design

In our Smart Art camps and classes, students explore art concepts connected to STEM topics and view the relationship between Art and STEM. In this camp, students will explore the idea of floor plans and design layouts and blueprints. Students will draw and design buildings and rooms from various perspectives.
