Full STEAM Ahead Specialty Summer Camps are the perfect way to keep your child growing all summer long. Our STEM Summer Camps and Arts Summer Camps allow children to dig deeper into topics that they love in a way that helps them grow intellectually and socially. During our Specialty Camp Minecraft 1: Builders and Crafters, students will learn the basics of the computer program Minecraft, a block builder and adventure game with limitless potential. Staff will help students get comfortable with the use of keyboard and mouse controls, while giving them challenging problems to solve from recreating famous architecture, to designing their own puzzles, and even creating their own minigames.

Note to Parents This camp occurs during 4th of July week. We will NOT be running camp on Thursday, July 4th. As such, this camp is offered at a discounted price, and will only run Monday-Wednesday (July 1 – July 3) There will be an OPTIONAL camp, Friday, July 5th as a SEPERATE registration

During our Specialty Camp Game Design – Coding, using the coding language Scratch, students will learn how to program and design their own game, ranging from side-scrollers, to clickers, to even recreating some classic arcade games. Students gain the fundamentals of Scratch, and some more advanced techniques.

From memes to coffee mugs, cardboard boxes to magazine covers, Graphic Design is all around us. Graphic Designers use a unique combination of art and tech skills to create their masterpieces, and in this camp, students will learn the tricks of the trade. Students will learn about principles of graphic design, discover the world of design all around them, and use Canva and other software to design their own flyers, logos, invitations, advertisements, and more.

And yea, we’ll be making a ton of epic memes with our newly acquired skills.

During our Specialty Camp YouTube Creators 2 – Advance, students will take their content creation to the next level. From recording and casting, to editing and marketing techniques. Students will learn the business side of being a face on the screen.
